Are you doing some maintenance work for us?
SMA Property is small family run property business with properties throughout the UK
We use local contractors to do maintenance and refurbishment work.
Our aim is not to be awkward here but to ensure that all parties are safe throughout the process and you can do the work efficiently and get paid quickly.
Its difficult to meet all the contractors personally so we choose contractors that have a track record of being in business over several years, are competent to do the work and ideally have some accreditation with a governing body in their field.
What we expect from you:
- No work to be carried out without authorisation of cost (sms or email)
- Your Personal Liability Insurance to be full and current.
- We need as company policy Public Liability Insurance of £2million and £5million for Employers Liability before commencing work
- Once completed email us an invoice
- GDPR compliant, as we may need to give you tenant details to book in etc
We will:
- Aim to pay you in 5 working days of receiving the invoice
- Add you to our preferred suppliers list for future work (subject to satisfaction)
